Dilleen Dental is a QIP accredited dental practice and has been located in South Rockhampton since 1995. Our welcoming team of dentists and support staff are here to provide you with the best dental care possible. We care for the dental needs of the whole family and are always open to welcoming new patients.

Our clinic is recognised as  all health fund members, as well as Veterans Affairs cardholders.
We also provide bulk billing for children covered under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

Dr Zaw Phyo

Dentist

A graduate of Dental Surgery in the United Kingdom, Dr. Zaw has been providing care to the patients, since 2013. Being a proficient dentist, he practiced dentistry in Singapore and London, before moving to Australia and started in the South-East Queensland area prior to joining our team. Dr Zaw has done further trainings to expand his skills in root canal treatment, surgical extractions and aesthetic dentistry. He is extremely passionate in providing his patients with the best possible dental experience and always striving for high standard and longevity. He prides himself on the quality of dentistry, he can provide. He knows the importance of good communication and thorough explanation of the treatment plans to ensure that his patients feel at ease. When not in practice Dr Zaw’s interests include tennis, badminton and soccer. He also enjoys hiking and photography and spending time with his puppy!

Originally from Toronto, Canada, I moved to Australia to get my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from the University of Melbourne. I love all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in preventative and restorative dentistry. My aim is to provide the highest standard of care to my patients by ensuring that they are comfortable and relaxed. In my free time, you could find me trying out new cafes and restaurants, in the gym or playing cricket.

Dr Dilleen graduated Bachelor of Dental Science (B.D.Sc) from the University of QLD in 1981. Equipped with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, with a vast amount of experience from working in rural and remote communities.
